Rock The Week

Fashion related (and totally non-fashion related) things that have made my world go round over the last seven days…

• Bristol Half Marathon. Today I ran my second half marathon and despite all my fears about blisters and having been a bit under the weather recently, it went really well. I’m now camped on the sofa with Mr Ship-Shape, who also ran today, and we’re aching but smiley – it was a great race and I’m so chuffed we and our friend Hannah completed it without any issues. Congrats to everyone else who took part today!
• Designer clothes. This week I blogged about Designer Outlet Fashion Month, which is why I journeyed to Swindon yesterday. You can see in the photo above that I was treated to a manicure and a set of lovely ‘Cajun Shrimp’ red nails while I was there, but I’ll do a full write up soon.
• Bristol Independent Boutiques. Yesterday I finally got around to posting a selection of photos from the recent Bristol Independent Boutiques A/W fashion show. The night was a great success and I’m looking forward to seeing the show and the organisation itself develops over the next few months. If you went to the show I’d love to hear your thoughts on it.
