The last time I went to Stroud I found this acrylic knitwear dream combination, also known as a twinset. One part twee short sleeved sweater and one part granny cardigan, this £3.50 bargain has been at the top of my ‘must wear this’ pile for a while. I love the different knitting techniques used in the cardigan, and the sweater has a line of dinky peppermint coloured buttons running down the front.
Unfortunately I have a habit of picking up hand wash-only items from charity shops, see this tweed blazer, so in a pile it went until I could be bothered to wash it. Fortunately it was worth the wait, and I threw it on with a pair of indigo denim jeans and plimsoles to go out for a lazy Saturday morning breakfast hunt.
The jeans were a clothes swap find and I’m so happy with them. I used to wear jeans a lot when I was a teenager but now I’m definitely more of a skirts and (floral) trousers kind of gal. I would like a lighter pair though, so if you have a favourite (high street) brand of denim then let me know in the comments!
Awww, the cardi is so sweet! I love the colour, it’s delicious. :)
Thanks Tara! It’s not a shade I normally go for but it’s so fresh – perfect for spring/summer.
SO BAD? Dude, it’s so good that it’s good! x
Thanks lady! Just wish it wasn’t so hot atm or else I’d be wearing it all the time :)
