Fashion related (and totally non-fashion related) things that have made my world go round over the last seven days…
- I’m at another festival this weekend, which is definitely worthy of a RTW mention. So far the weather has been mixed, the music has been brilliant and the potential for finding goodies in the Oxfam clothing tent, difficult to resist!
- Pampering. This week I treated myself to a mini facial at Origins. The counter is located in House of Fraser but there is also a beauty room hidden away at the bak of the department store that offers a bit of peace from the hustle and bustle of the shop floor. Origins manager Jade worked her magic on me and my skin felt so soft afterwards – it’s only £15 for 45 minutes, redeemable against purchase, and a wonderful way to spoil yourself!
- The Bat Man. I couldn’t write this post and not mention the amazing final film of Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. The Dark Knight Rises kept me on the edge of my seat and is as good, if not possibly even better, than The Dark Knight. Despite my initial skepticism, Anne Hathaway made a brilliant Catwoman, and the villains held their own against Heath Ledger’s Joker of the previous sequal. Do you agree?

I saw Batman exactly a week ago, and oh my goodness – how fab was it?! The boyfriend and I treated ourselves to a late Sunday night screening (to get away from those pesky school-age children…bah humbug!) and only got back at midnight.
Then we spent another hour talking about how amazing it was while drinking tea and eating crumpets. Quite frankly it was amazing :D x
