Two sunny Bank Holiday weekends in a row!? Oh Britain, if you’re not careful you’ll give us cause to think we might actually get a summer this year…
The long weekend was blissful and pretty relaxed for me, and the gorgeous weather gave me the opportunity to bust out this new lace t-shirt from H&M. I picked it up in Bath a few weeks ago when it was on sale. The dusty blue colour isn’t one that I normally gravitate towards but I just loved the simplicity of t-shirt shape combined with the floral lace fabric.
These photographs were taken during a wander around the allotments set on a hill between St Andrews and St Werburghs. A thin pedestrian pathway winds down the hill, snaking around the allotments to St Werburghs City Farm – one of my favourite spots in Bristol and an excellent canvas for outfit shoots.
The skirt comes straight from Grandma Ship-Shape’s wardrobe and the cloudy palette of peaches, mint green and lilac is the perfect springtime combination to wear in the sun. I picked the sunglasses up on holiday last year and I’m pleased to say that they’re finally making an (almost) daily appearance in my outfits! How did you spend your Bank Holiday weekend? I hope you were able to soak up some sun, too!

Thanks Maria – think there are still some floating around H&M if you get down there quick : )
Your belt is awesome! I think I’ll be on the hunt for a similar one over the next few weeks haha

Thanks! I found it at a clothes swap so I’m not sure what the original make is – hope you find one!

Amen to that! x
I love your skirt too – good old granny Shipshape – and it’s given the confidence to keep my eye out for similar skirts in the charity shops x

Thanks Kat – the classic pleated midi skirt seems to be a granny favourite so I’m sure you’ll find loads in the charity shops – I used to wear them as summer dresses too though I’m not sure I could pull that look off any more!
