Fashion related (and totally non-fashion related) things that have made my world go round over the last seven days…
- After two and a half days of nothing but paintbrushes, rollers and dust sheets, Mr Ship-Shape and I have finished decorating our bedroom, above. So far we’ve spent the Easter weekend being very grown-up and tackling some much-needed DIY. It may not look like much, and suffice to say that if there was an open casting call for the next B&Q advert anytime soon, I don’t think we’d get it, but I’m proud we managed to finish a whole room without killing each other!
- This week on the blog I wrote about my love for the colour red, which manifested in an outfit post featuring the brightest tights known to man. Coloured tights (and patterned leggings) make such a statement in winter, but I’m also looking forward to warmer days when bare legs are all that’s required!
- I also found out this week that I’ve been shortlisted for the Bath in Fashion Blogger of The Year Award, which is quite blooming exciting! I promise not to waffle on about voting, but if you want to read more about the awards you can read my post (with voting details) here.
- Finally, the thing that’s most rocking my week is that the clocks have changed. I love spring and the anticipation of summer so I’m looking forward to longer, sunny evenings and perhaps even having time for a post-work outfit shoot, too :)
