Rock The Week

Fashion related (and totally non-fashion related) things that have made my world go round over the last seven days…

Rock The Week 17/02/13 | Ship-Shape and Bristol Fashion

  • Valentine’s Day wedding. This week has been one to remember because two of my dear friends got married… on Valentine’s Day. The weather was perfect, the bride looked stunning and the ceremony was beautiful. It was a great way to celebrate Valentine’s Day and I’m chuffed to bits that Mr Ship-Shape and I got to share in their special day.
  • The sound of cinema. On Friday we went to see the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra perform at Colston Hall. Hearing scores from films such as Indiana Jones, Schindler’s List and Gladiator performed live by a full orchestra was a brilliant end to the week.
  • Full throttle blogging. This week has been a busy one on the blog – on Monday I posted about the relaunch of Cloth magazine, on Tuesday my divine new Zara boots made an appearance, Wednesday was all about beauty, in the form of a Neal’s Yard Remedies mini facial, and on Friday I shared this gorgeous vase from Amara.co.uk – I just wish I didn’t have a cold so I could actually smell these! Sniff, sniff…
  • Pancakes for breakfast. Today I finally made true on my promise of cooking pancakes more than once a year. I chose a very simple recipe with lemon juice and sugar, but next time I might have to try making Ron’s apple pancakes. Nom!

I always make pancakes on pancake day and think ‘hey, these are amazing – I should make them more often…’ and then never do! So good for you for keeping to that promise! I really should make them more often…!

    PS congrats to your friends!
