Rock The Week

Fashion related (and totally non-fashion related) things that have made my world go round over the last seven days…

BIB Charity Fashion Show at Folk House

  • BIB Charity Fashion Show. I spent Friday evening at Bristol Folk House watching collections from Bristol’s indie designers and boutiques, including Cox & Baloney, 7th Sea and Fix Up Look Sharp. I took lots of photos of the night so once I’ve edited them I’ll write a longer post about the evening : )
  • Masa Bristol. On Wednesday evening I went to this Japanese restaurant on Baldwin Street and the seafood was incredible! The meal was in aid of a friend’s birthday, and five of us had a teppanyaki room to ourselves, where all the food was cooked fresh in front of us, along with course after course of sushi and sashimi, nom!

Monsoon top and Primark denim shorts

  • This week I published the last outfit post from Italy. Although it was only a month ago, wearing tiny shorts and embroidered tops (not to mention sunglasses!) feels like it was eons ago. You can see the rest of the posts from that trip here.
  • Reading all about LFW thanks to Fashion Editor at Large, Disneyrollergirl and LFW Daily. So far my favourite trend is patterns, patterns patterns! Particularly Eley Kishimoto and Antoni & Alison – have you spotted any trends that you can’t wait to wear next spring?
