Last night Bristol’s Big Chill Bar played host to the press launch for mystreetchic.com, a new online fashion community covering trends, street style and fashion news. When laced with cocktails, fashionable chit-chat and some of Bristol’s best dressed journalists and bloggers, the night was only ever going to be a fantastic one, though I’d be lying if I said it didn’t end in a slight hangover for me this morning…
As well as throwing a cracking party, mystreetchic.com also staged a ‘chic-over’ last Saturday at Cabot Circus by attempting to create a new world record for the highest amount of topknot hairstyles done in one day.
The day was as successful as last night and seems to have put mystreetchic.com, created by the folks behind the popular Bristol Fashionista blog, on the fashion map.
If you have been papped by the website’s lovely fashion ambassadors in the last couple of weeks you may well appear in their Glam Spy section, while fans of personal stylist Niki Whittle, aka Hip Shapes and Bristol Fashion, will be pleased to know she is one of the site’s experts, on hand to answer your fashion dilemmas.
